What is Deliverance Ministry?

Deliverance ministry is the process of releasing a person from spiritual/demonic bondages with the use and the authority of Jesus Christ.  These demonic strongholds may have entered into a person's life at any stage from the womb to present day and age and could have gained access through various means of sins committed or sins of ancestors.

Casting out demons was a common practice in Jesus' and the apostles ministry.
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.   Luke 4:18
Luke 10:17
And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.  Matthew 10:1
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
Acts 10:38

Here are some beliefs concerning demons and deliverance ministry:
We believe in the Power and Authority that Christ continues to exercise over the defeated kingdom of Satan.
We believe that authority that Christ gave to His disciples is given to His followers today.
We believe that a Christian can become spiritually, mentally, physically, and emotionally oppressed because of demonic strongholds and forces that are active in their lives.
We do not believe that a Christian can be possessed.  Possession speaks of ownership.  Christians are owned of God and purchased by the blood of Jesus.
We believe that demons gain access through generational ties through either or both sides of the family.
We believe demons gain access and permission by sins committed of the individual (doorways).
We believe that a Christian can obtain total deliverance in Jesus Christ!
