So last night, I went to the dollar store and bought a project and display board and printed out a bunch of pictures. You hear so many success speakers suggest to do this and I find that it's a strong biblical principle.
Hab 2:2 Then the Lord answered me and said:
Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.
So I talked about it and wrote things down in the past, but I finally created one. And it felt good knowing I'm making some progressing getting things out that are in my head and desires I want to achieve and possess. I might not be there YET... but I'm not losing sight of the goals. At the end of the day, I'd rather say to myself, "at least I tried!"
As I looked at my vision board this morning and pasted the pictures on it, I started thinking to myself, I don't how but there has to be a way!
I started thinking about adding pictures of people who inspire me. Not just stars and artists but no name people who are having more success in other areas that I'd like to have myself.
So it's a work in progress but the next thing I'm going to add right across the top is:
It Is POSSIBLE! I CAN DO IT!
with GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE!
GOD is empowering me to be able to DO IT!
I also want to add the scripture:
And the Lord said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Gen 11:6
Did you see that? God said nothing will hold them back from doing what they IMAGINED to do!
You have the POWER to IMAGINE to DO!
The Power Key is that THEY started DOING what the IMAGINED to DO!
Let that sink in for a bit...
They started to do what they imagined to do. They didn't wait till they had everything in place to begin!
Begin my friend! Begin! Don't wait! Start with what you have and begin!
Even if it's it's just cutting out pictures.
Do the things to assist your imagination!
Friend, I'm no different than you. I struggle with staying encouraged just like you. What I do know is this:
1. Your dream, your goal... it starts with a thought, with a desire, a hope that things could be better, that things could change. It starts with IMAGINATION!
2. You need to be constantly inspired and encouraged.
3. You need to see something everyday to inspire and stir up your faith. Jesus said look at the birds.
Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Mth 6:26
Join me and let's connect with people that can be mentors to us. That when you look at their picture, you say to yourself, "If he can do it, if she can do it, then so can I."
Don't just think of stars and famous people. Find the local no name person who is having a measure of success that inspires you.
Find out who inspires you. Who are they? Find them. Look at them. look at their website. Look at their picture. Look at their works. Let that person to give you a little boost every now and then.
You and I are going to feel discouraged when we put in effort and don't see the results. It's natural. But don't give up. Keep trying. At least you are finding out what doesn't work. Stay with it. There is a way!
Be convinced that there is a way!
Others are doing it and they are no better than you. Remember, the bumble be should not be able to fly. It just doesn't know it!
You are designed to bounce back and find a way!
Find it. It's there. The way is there.
Ask God to open your eyes so that you can see provision. Ask for the wisdom and direction! Look for the mentors!
Elisabeth is out there! Elisabeth? you ask... Yes Mary was pregnant the with the promise of the Savior but Elisabeth was 6 months ahead of her. She was pregnant with a miracle as well. Somebody is ahead of you who as already been there and done that. Learn from them. Be inspired by them!
Let them share with you what is possible!
It is POSSIBLE!
